At PCC we have well trained and experienced personnel and surveyors operating and distributed across the Libyan petroleum ports and terminals from west to east. PCC quality and quantity inspection services are successfully utilized by different applications on a regular basis. Our inspectors operate to the precise standards required by API, ASTM, IP and ISO. Continuous training and monitoring means we deliver the high quality service our clients expect.


Crude Oil & Petroleum refined Products Inspection involves the inspecting for quantity and quality of the products to establish their conformity to required standards and specifications, our inspection services encompass:

1. Sampling and analysis

Product sampling and analysis are performed according to instructions at accredited local and international laboratories.  The sampling procedures for products at shore tanks and cargo tanks are conducted  according ASTM D4057−19   method.

2. Inspection survey

  • Loading supervision  (quantity and quality control) of crude oil / petroleum products from shore tanks to the loading vessel.

  • Discharging process inspection of crude oil/ petroleum products from ship to shore tanks.

  • Quantity and quality inspection of crude oil/ petroleum products at shore tanks

  • Ship Bunker, slop tanks, and Ballast tanks survey.

  • Quantity and quality control Inspection of Petroleum products when transferred via pipelines between farm shore tanks, or other tanks via designated network lines across the country.

  • Reporting: Each inspection process is documented in a specific PCC form which reports all the technical and relative information regarding the operation. All issued forms are then endorsed by our PCC surveyor. A full report related to the operation is then provided and enclosed  with all endorsed documents.

PCC is very well experienced in the supply and injection of chemical additives in selected petroleum products, we provide Supply and addition of chemical additives such as antistatic additives in Jet-fuel and green dye for Gasoline in ship/shore tanks.
